We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year break, and we wish you all a productive and enjoyable Spring Term.

This term we see the start of our Sports events for Primary schools, run in partnership with Sportshall.  We have organised 9 events over 5 days throughout the Spring and Summer terms for children from Reception age through to Year 4. We have 18 schools taking part this year, and are really looking forward to welcoming so many of you to the Spectrum over the next few months.

We also have 2 different specialist courses running this half term. Talk for Writing for KS2 is a full day training on Monday 29th January at Kings College. Developed by Pie Corbett, the training is practical and inspiring and will leave you with many brilliant plans and ideas to take back to the classroom. Bookings for this event can be made here.

We are also delighted to be offering a Resilience Workshop, which is open to all NQTs, NQT+1 and NQT+2. This being held on Thursday 8th February and Thursday 3rd May as a twilight session from 4-6pm at George Abbot School.  Booking for this event can be made here.

If you are a member school, please don’t forget to check out our secure areas. We regularly update our Bursars and SENCo resources page, plus have many useful documents for your use on our EAL and Moderation pages.

Do let us know if there is anything else you would like to see on the website.
